Grand Canyon First Light

Grand Canyon First Light
After yesterday's post, I got to thinking of the first photo I took at Grand Canyon National Park ... when I first laid eyes on the canyon! They gave us the time for first light and this was the first photo I took of the canyon!
The sun was rising to our right and I hadn't had a chance to scope out the best vantage point or anything. No playing around with settings I just wanted to see that light as it started to grace the canyon. There were trees in my way... didn't matter!! The vast canyon that is just magical and breathtaking still shrouded in darkness! Look at those gorgeous colors in the sky as the sun begins to welcome us to a new day!
