Today I am celebrating roots. Look at these roots growing so strong. This is along the woodland path I walk between the Como Lake Park and the Lighthouse. Have to pay attention to not trip while looking up at the gorgeous trees. 🫣 I started looking at the roots and got intrigued. Got down to take the photo and they made me think of mountain ranges on a miniature scale, kinda like a model mountain range.
Just started thinking about how long they had been growing, all the people that have walked the path, all the critters that climb the trees, all the birds that use the tree for shelter, the glorious colors of the leaves ... it all started with the roots. The roots are the key. Plus the fallen leaves of the season nestled in the valleys between the roots and the green patches of grass growing all add points of interest for me 💜
