Friday's travels began with a walk at Akron Falls Park. What a beautiful walk it was with the leaves changing. Wandering down to the creek bed there was some sunshine shining down through the tree canopy... rustle of the leaves with the slight breeze... crunch of the downed leaves beneath our feet... sounds of birds high above... chipmunks and squirrels running, chasing each other, playing and eating... and gorgeous scenery all around! One noticeably absent element was the sound of flowing water from the waterfall and down the creek. It was barely a trickle of water flowing.
This photo was from down by the creek bed. I love the green of the moss covered rocks, the fallen leaves nestled all around and the trees still full of leaves. Of course I had to follow and explore the path and stop and watch the chipmunks and squirrels Love being out in nature! Who loves following paths? Wandering around and exploring?
