This is from a 4 park tour trying to beat the afternoon storms rolling in. I have to take advantage of every opportunity I can get! This walk is up a path that just calls to me every time I go there. Here the little bit of sun was peeking through the canopy of trees, the light breeze rustling the leaves and causing some to fall (which I had to watch of course), the crunch of the leaves under my feet, the squirrels and chipmunks scampering through the leaves chasing each other, birds singing, the various stages of the leaves changing for a gorgeous blend of colors... and that path!!
What a wonderful walk and chance to immerse myself in the beauty of nature and let that make everything else fall away! Nature is so magical and really soothes the soul Does this path call to you? Make you want to explore?
