Village Green Color Changing Tree
This is in one of our town parks, Village Green Park. I find this tree to be like the perfect tree. The shape is so symmetrical and just pleasing. Then look closely at the leaves. This tree was sooo fascinating. From the far side of the park it looks like the tree has turned red. When you get closer you can see that there is still a bit of green undertones. Get even closer (like right up under the canopy, because you just know that is where I went) you see that it is still mostly green, just outer leaves have started to change)
So from the far side as I walked the path and across the open grass it appeared red. Once I walked under I saw how much green there was and also that the leaves on the other sides were different! The side facing the treeline was still mostly green but the leaves were yellow... then the side facing the far path and the East side of the park the leaves were orange! All the glorious colors of Fall on 1 tree!! So lovely!!
