Going to keep celebrating the glorious colors of Fall. It is fun trying to see as much as I can when I am faced with an impending storm. Did make me walk a little faster but still constantly looking around and enjoying my surroundings! You can see the cloud cover has changed and is getting greyer. At this point the rain was supposed to start within about 30 min
This is in one of our County Parks, Como Lake Park. I park on one side of the park, walk through the park, through part of town to the lighthouse (to see it from the road/bridge) and back. This park has roadways and paths all winding throughout the park and there are shelters all nestled into alcoves of trees, around bends, near playgrounds, etc. It is a lovely walk. In this park, the roadways also double as walking paths as well as the paths that go through the woods.
Here you can see the roadway path nestled among the trees, isn't it such a beautiful scene? Pulling you in; making you want to go explore? Haha, yes I follow all the paths and of course wander through the grass and under the trees and all that fun stuff too. I enjoy walking among the trees; looking all around because you never know what you will find! The breeze starting to pick up, the rustling of the leaves causing some to fall, the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet, the drop in temperature, the smell of the crisp cool air; all wonderful elements of the Fall season. I love capturing the moment and keeping it real!
