A Bend In The Village Green
This is in one of our town parks, Village Green Park. I am still relishing the wonderful colors of the season! They are always gone too soon.
This park is nice because you walk along the creek and can see different animals and birds at different times. Sometimes you can hear the water flowing the farther you walk into the park. There is a waterfall that is not too high, but mesmerizing all the same.
When I took this photo, it was before all the storms and rain of the last couple weeks and the water is low in the creek as you can see and barely any was flowing over the falls compared to normal. I love all the twists and turns of creeks and streams. They are like paths and roads; welcoming and calling to be explored.
I love how the colors all blend together and create such a wonderful view. All individual and unique, all at different points in their changing process and all looking beautiful! The storm was rolling in so the clouds were quickly changing yet there were patches of the blue sky and white clouds yet. Mother Nature's Fall color palette is magnificent in the way it is shared! What a treasure it is to be able to experience all the beauty and wonder of the various seasons!
